Polish Prime Minister said that Poland could join the euro zone in 2012
From HELSINKI, on April 17th: the Polish Prime Minister Tusk said in Helsinki on 17th, Poland was likely to join the euro area early in 2012. Tuskafter the talk with the Finnish Prime Minister Vanhanen at a press conference said that Polish accession to the euro zone had the basic conditions, and if the conditions are ripe, he will submit to Parliament the proposal of Polish accession to the euro area.

Poland received 330 million euros of the EU economic stimulus funds
Xinhuanet in Warsaw on March 20th (Xinhua Zhang Zhang) on 20th Polish Prime Minister Tusk said that Poland from the EU received 330 million euros of economic stimulus funds for energy and the Internet infrastructure. According to news agency it was reported that, Tusk in Brussels to attend EU summit said he was glad that “Nabucco” pipeline plan was also included in the EU energy plan. The construction of the “Nabucco” pipeline EU supporting from Turkey to Austria, after the completion, had the annual 31 billion cubic meters of natural gas produced in the Caspian Sea coast of Azerbaijan, Iran and other countries, delivered to Europe, to reduce the EU dependence on Russian natural gas.
