China became second largest investor in Mozambique
Xinhua from Harare, on April 14th (Xinhua Li Nuer) Maputo news: The Senate Department of the Chinese Embassy in Mozambique on 14th said that National Investment Promotion Center of Mozambique showed the latest statistics that Chinese investment in Mozambique from the top sixth place in 2007 rose to the second place in 2008, has become the second largest investor in Mozambique. A official of Investment Promotion Center of Mozambique said that in 2008 Chinese total investment in Mozambique reached 76.8 million U.S. dollars.

Iran asked OPEC to reduce production of 1.5 million barrels

Mozambique and South Africa will build a power station
Mozambique power company, on 14th said the company will work with the State Power Corporation of South Africa together to create a power station in Mozambique, with investment up to 1.3 billion U.S. dollars.
