UBS layoffs: UBS will lay off 10% in Germany, or will be completed before the end of this year
According to Dow Jones Newswires reported on 30 January , the UBS AG, UBS, head of Axel Hoerger Germany said that as part of cost-cutting initiatives that the bank will lay off about 10% in Germany . The news will be published on January 31 edition of Die Welt.

RBS layoffs: Royal Bank of Scotland will cut 10,000 jobs
According to the British “Financial Times” reported that the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) may cut 10,000 jobs , in order to shrink their investment banking . The report said the layoffs may be concentrated in the bank ’s equity investment business , because the business is only a small portion of total revenues , but also going behind other competitors.

Chipmaker CSR has decided to stop investing in digital TV system chip , and announced to lay off 400 people. Since the merger of the company chip maker Zoran this summer, this company carried out the second layoff , currently the layoffs since the number reached 800 people.
