BitTorrent Layoffs; Facebook Employees

BitTorrent announced to lay off 50% of employees and appointed the new Chief Executive Officer
According to foreign media reports, BitTorrent announced to appoint CTO Eric Kelinkeer as the new CEO of the company, while the former CEO DougWalker would leave. According to sources, BitTorrent will lay off 18 employees, which is nearly half of the total number of employees.

Facebook will not lay off the employees but to increase the number of staff
According to foreign media reports, Facebook’s revenue has always been a mystery, Facebook CEO Zuckerberg recently revealed that this year revenue would be “hundreds of millions of dollars.” Zuckerberg said that the economic downturn affecting the advertising network, many Silicon Valley companies reduce the cost through layoffs; however, Facebook would not lay off, but they would hunt new employees.
