BMW to recall over 20000 cars in China: auto brake boosters were contaminated
According to the State Administration of Quality Supervision disclosed last night: As the defective braking system, there will be a total of 21,383 imported BMW 5 Series, 6 Series, 7 series and 388 Rolls-Royce Phantom recalling from next Wednesday .

It is reported that BMW recalling in China as part of its global recall. Because the vehicle may be affected by the brake booster vacuum within the oil pollution, in extreme cases the vehicle may lose Brake Assist function, or lead vehicle braking performance. The recall of the “defective” BMW car production date was December 14, 2001 to November 23, 2009, while Rolls Royce car production date was January 1, 2003 to November 30, 2009.

BMW layoffs information: Even if the economic crisis continues, BMW will not carry out layoffs
BMW recently said that even if the current economic crisis has not been improved, BMW will not be any layoffs.

BMW personnel manager Harald Krueger told Reuters, “We recruit frame of reference, including hours work calculation, holidays and the number of natural factors such as demographic changes and mobility.”

To achieve cost reduction objectives, BMW has already laid off 10000 people, and shortening the working hours of in-service workers. The move for BMW to save about 500 million euros of fixed costs. In addition, the estimated new BMW 5 Series GT models of the new company will drive sales growth.
