U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Committee on Thursday (June 23) by an anonymous vote supported Locke served as ambassador in China, but the appointment still needs a final Senate vote.
Luo Jiahui (Gary Faye Locke, 1950/1/21 – ) male, was born in Seattle, Washington , he is a Democrat and native of China, Guangdong, 1997 to 2005 he served as the 21st U.S. governor of the state of Washington

ST-Ericsson layoffs: ST-Ericsson announced savings plans to lay off 500 employees worldwide
STMicroelectronics and Ericsson ’s joint venture ST-Ericsson announced Thursday that the recent changes in the environment and some business customers to reduce demand for traditional products , the company will launch a savings program designed to end of 2012 prior to realize annual savings of about $120 million target. The cost of the plan also includes the global reduction of 500 employees.
