iPad promotes the development of Touch Panel
Since its inception of IPhone and iPad, the capacitive touch panel has been grabbing most of the market share. Market research firm Gartner pointed out, by 2010, the global sales of touch screen mobile devices are more than 362 million, an increase of 96.8% compared with the same period last year, of which only Tablet PC sales are nearly 1.95 million units. 2011 tablet PC sales worldwide will reach 54 million units, by 2014, the amount will reach 208 million units.
