Dell layoffs: Dell cuts 10% employees of the R & D center in Taiwan
News on March 9, 2010: according to Taiwan media reports, so far this year Dell’s R & D center in Taiwan, a 10% reduction of employees. Dell in Taiwan in 2009 cut sales staff. The report quoted sources as saying that before the current round of layoffs, Dell in Taiwan, has about 600 R &D personnel.

The report, citing unnamed industry sources as saying that layoffs that Dell is likely to increase investment in China, or to more decentralization of R & D projects on behalf of the factory.
