Exelixis layoffs: Exelixis will lay off 270 people
News on March 10, 2010: According to media reports, biotechnology company Exelixis Inc. (EXEL) announced plans to lay off about 270 people to its workforce, or about 40% to save costs and continue to work with Sanofi – Aventis (SAN), and 100 hours America Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMY) to develop anti-cancer drug. The company said the job cuts will make it a year starting in 2011 the cost savings of approximately 90 million U.S. dollars.
