Microsoft layoffs: Microsoft has dismissed 5,000 employees, come to an end large-scale layoffs in 2009
Microsoft re-announced layoffs, will be laid off on a global scale nearly 800 people involved in multiple product sectors, a Microsoft spokesman confirmed that nearly a quarter of the overall layoffs occurred in the Microsoft headquarters in Seattle.

Microsoft said after this layoffs, the company completed the layoffs announced in January plans. In January of this year, Microsoft said that due to the economic crisis and other reasons, the company planed in the next 18 months to complete 5,000 job cuts. Microsoft spokesman Lou Gellos said the layoffs for the last time, the number of job cuts accumulated more than 5,000 people as scheduled, but did not disclose the number of layoffs.
