Iraq second time the auction oil and gas fields, or continue to participate in China’s three major oil companies
End of the auction oil and gas fields in the first round the past two months later, the Iraqi Oil Ministry to start the second round of auction of oil and gas fields.

Today, the Iraqi Oil Ministry will be meeting with oil executives in Istanbul on the estimated auction 10 oil fields roadshow.

At present, 45 countries have access to bidding qualifications. The participation in the auction are undeveloped oil field, which means that the auction may not only Iraq’s oil and gas service contracts, and may be undeveloped oil field exploration rights in order to increase the attractiveness of the auction.

Participate in the second round of bidding for oil and gas projects are Badra oil (Badra), East Baghdad oil field (East Baghdad), Khalaf oil (Garraf), Maji Nu oil (Majnoon), Najmah oil fields, Kaijala oil (Qaiyarah), -2 West Qurna oil field, Halfava oil fields, as well as the Furat district, including four oil fields in eastern oil fields, including groups, and another one in central region consists of three oil fields project group.

For the first round of bidding Liupai oil and gas fields of the seven projects, the Iraqi government not yet announced the new auction scheme.

In the first round of bidding is completed, Sinopec, CNOOC and PetroChina spokesman were not clear whether it will continue to participate in the bidding.
