From a regional perspective, the first half of the provinces and cities of the accommodation and catering industry retail sales growth in both. Guangdong Province, such as accommodation catering industry up 13.3 percent; Beijing, the restaurant industry grew 13.6 percent, an increase of 3% lodging industry; 9.2 percent growth in Tianjin accommodation; Zhejiang accommodation and catering industry growth was only 4.5%. The central and western regions of China’s accommodation catering industry is not affected by financial crisis, maintaining a relatively high growth rate. Inner Mongolia, such as accommodation and catering retail sales up 21.5 percent; Jilin accommodation catering industry retail sales of 19.192 billion yuan, up 24.2 percent, higher than the total retail sales of social consumer goods, average growth of 5.8 percentage points; Sichuan accommodation and catering industry sales 514.89 billion yuan, up 22.5 percent, higher than the corresponding increase in total retail sales of consumer goods by 2 percentage points; Yunnan Province, the fastest-growing restaurant industry reached 27.9%.
