SAFE Secretary Hu Xiaolian, deputy governor of the central bank will be transferred to the international power of the renminbi
The central bank will soon be major personnel changes. Yi Gang, deputy governor of the central bank will act as Secretary for the State Administration of Foreign Exchange, the current Secretary Hu Xiaolian SAFE stepped down from his post of Secretary to become a full-time vice president of the central bank.

It was revealed that before the appointment has been expected to be announced recently.

Earlier, early in June, there was news that the current central bank vice governor Yi Gang Administration of Foreign Exchange will be transferred to the Secretary, and Secretary Hu Xiaolian SAFE incumbent will serve as the central bank full-time post of vice president in charge of RMB internationalization of the work. But at the time the central bank had no comment on this news.

Hu Xiaolian said to be in charge of the central bank’s monetary policy and planning to set up the Second Division of the monetary policy, is responsible for promoting the cross-border trade, such as the RMB clearing pilot RMB internationalization of the work.

China’s central bank Web site shows that for economics, Dr. Yi Gang, adding the central bank since 1997, previously served as Secretary of monetary policy, the rank of assistant governor, in December 2007, vice president of the central bank since the office in charge of monetary policy.

Hu Xiaolian for Master of Economics, since 1984 the work of entering the State Administration of Foreign Exchange, 2005, he served as Secretary for State Administration of Foreign Exchange, the central bank deputy governor.
