China to raise petrol, diesel prices
China to raise petrol and diesel prices by 600 yuan (about 87.8 U.S. dollars) per ton beginning Tuesday midnight.
Increase in gasoline prices increased about 0.45 per liter, or 8.6 percent and diesel prices of about 0.51 per liter, or 9.6 percent, said National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) in a a statement on its Web site Web site.
This is the third oil price adjustment this year. May 31, National Development and Reform Commission raised the gasoline prices, gasoline and diesel 400 yuan per ton, or 7% and 8% respectively.
