Beijing in May to achieve retail sales of social consumer goods up 14.7%
In May this year in Beijing to continue the steady growth of the consumer goods market, the realization of social consumer goods retail sales in the month 43.63 billion yuan, an increase of 14.7%.

This is the Beijing Bureau of Statistics, National Bureau of Statistics Survey Organization Beijing jointly announced the latest statistics.

In May, the Beijing consumer market food, clothing, commodities, respectively, with 10.93 billion yuan to achieve sales, 41.9 billion and 25.75 billion yuan, an increase of 11.8%, respectively, 19.6% and 20.3%; burning type of retail sales of goods to achieve 2.76 billion yuan yuan, down 17.7 percent.

By industry category, in Beijing in May’s wholesale and retail trade, catering industry, the lodging industry to achieve retail sales of 38.44 billion yuan, respectively, 3.94 billion yuan and 8.3 billion yuan, increased 14.5%, 18.8% and 11.8%.

By region, in Beijing in May to achieve urban and rural retail sales were 37.89 billion yuan and 57.5 billion yuan, respectively, an increase of 14.4% and 14.7%.

January-May, the Beijing retail sales of social consumer goods to achieve a total of 207.33 billion yuan, up 13.2 percent, after deducting price factors, the actual growth of 14.3%.
