Hungary will expand of nuclear power plant in Paul Kersh
BUDAPEST, on March 30th (Xinhua Yang Yongqian) Hungarian National Assembly on 30th with the voting results of 330 votes in favor, 6 against and 10 abstentions, passed the adoption of a draft resolution, which agreed the construction of new generating units of Paul Kersh nuclear power plant in principle. The draft resolution was submitted by the Government. Government explained the reasons of the construction of new generating units that residents of Hungary had a positive attitude towards nuclear power plant, and 73% of the residents agreed to have a nuclear power plant in Hungary. At present, Paul Kersh nuclear power plant in Hungary in electricity production structure played a decisive role, so the construction of new generating units would has a lot of economic, social, and environmental protection advantages.
