The construction of Chinese enterprises in Zambia about expansion of large-scale hydropower projects have been formally launched
Xinhuanet in Lusaka on March 6th (Xinhua Mu Dong LIU Jinhai) with costing over 400 million U.S. dollars, Zambia Kariba Hydropower Station Extension Project officially launched on 6th, Zambian President Banda presided over the groundbreaking ceremony, and Chinese Ambassador Li Qiangmin in Zambia accompanied. At a groundbreaking ceremony, Banda, expressed a high degree of appreciation and sincere thanks to the Chinese government in responding to the challenges of the global economic crisis who remained a critical moment, including Zambia, and selfless assist African countries.
