Philippines inflation rate in January fell to a new low
News on February 5: Philippine National Statistics Office announced on the 5th of the data showed, the Philippines inflation rate in December declines from 8 % last year to 7.1% in January this year, which creates the lowest point in these ten months.

Philippines central bank governor said on February 4: to alleviate inflationary pressures could provide greater space to adjust monetary policy of the central bank. In recent months the central bank announced to cut interest rates twice, the overnight deposit and lending rates were 5.0% and 7.0%.

Bank of England cut down 50 basis points interest rates to 1%
News on February 5: Bank of England cut interest rates again by 50 basis points to 1% so as to stimulate the re-spending consumers and businesses to help the British economy out of recession. UK interest rates have been declining for five consecutive months, which reduced 4% accumulatively.

At present, global credit crisis has seriously dragged down the British economy in 18 months successively. A sharp decline in housing prices, well-known large enterprises in difficult circumstances, hundreds of thousands of British unemployment. International Monetary Fund (IMF) expects the UK economy will shrink 2.8 percent this year.

News on February 5: Ministry of Public Security issued class B warrant and deployed a national effort to capture the counterfeit suspects Li Dong for selling “Tangzhining capsule” counterfeit.

In the mid-January, two patients in Kashi Prefecture Xinjiang took “Tangzhining capsule” counterfeit and dead. Ministry of Public Security deploys the local public security organs to work. Xinjiang public security authorities quickly intervened the case detection and arrested five suspects. After initial verification, criminal suspects Lidong (male, Han nationality, May 1, 1970 of birth, identity card number: 211302197005010410, Liaoning, Chaoyang City) is suspected to sell counterfeit medicine to many regions and he is now fleeing.
