Global warming, China will encounter the largest loss, which reaches 11 trillion U.S. dollars
Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) on December 4, 2008 released a report on global warming lead to the port city attacked by the flood. The report warned that in the event of the storm, the number of victims in 2070 is expected to reach 150 million people, which nearly 4 times of the current number and causes 35 trillion dollars economic losses.
According to Japanese media reported on December 5, the most serious loss country is China (11 trillion U.S. dollars), followed by the United States (9 trillion U.S. dollars), India (4 trillion U.S. dollars) and Japan (3 trillion U.S. dollars).
