Kenya’s product oil prices did not fall but up
Xinhua in Nairobi, on Dec 28th (Reporter Wang Danyi) even though international crude oil prices have been all the way down to around 37 U.S. dollars a barrel, the recent Kenya’s domestic market of refined oil price rose slightly. According to Kenya, “The Nation” it was reported on the 28th, due to the shortage of oil supply pipeline from Mombasa to Nairobi with and the Kenya National demand for fuel increased, from the beginning of last week, Nairobi, Nakuru and so on many parts’ gas stations are on oil-free sale, which led to the increase in market prices of oil products.

Kenya tourism market is not in the peak season
Christmas and New Year should have been Kenya’s golden season of tourism market, but the current situation left a big headache for the tourism industry, which hotel reservations and the number of visitors remained low. In Kenya, according to media reports, since the riots last year by the end of December of elections, the number of foreign tourists to Kenya dropped, so that the country’s tourism industry suffered heavy losses. Although the tourism sector has adopted a series of measures to deal with, but so far there has not been much change.
