Anheuser-Busch-InBev will lay off 1,400 employees in the United States
Anheuser-Busch-InBev announced as part of streamline, the company will lay off 1400 employees in the United States, which is equivalent to 6% of the total number of employees in the United States. Three-quarters of these layoffs are carried in North American headquarters of Anheuser-Busch in St. Louis.
Ford’s Volvo will lay off 4616 people
The Volvo department of Ford auto said that the company would lay off 4616 employees to reduce the cost. As the recession situation, Volvo e-mail stated today that they would lay off 2721 employees in Sweden including 2367 blue-collar workers; the company also would lay off 680 employees outside the Sweden markets.
