Japanese Prime Minister TaroAso positively appraised the Asia-Europe Summit
Prime Minister of Japan TaroAso held a conference in Beijing to gave a positive appraisal of the outcome of the Asia-Europe Meeting, at the same time he expressed respect and appreciation to China.
TaroAso thought that in this conference, 45 leaders exchange their own views on financial crisis, global warming, regional situation, etc. In particular, the leaders all worried about the current financial clearing system and issued a joint statement on this international financial crisis.

Hu Jintao met with Taro Aso to commemorate 30 years Sino-Japanese Treaty of Peace and Friendship
To commemorate Sino-Japanese Peace and Friendship Treaty for 30 years, the conference was held on Oct.24. President Hu Jintao and Japanese Prime Minister Taro Aso attended the conference and delivered speeches.

Hu Jintao and Wen Jiabao met with Taro Aso
Chinese President Hu Jintao, Premier Wen Jiabao separately yesterday met with Japanese Prime Minister Taro Aso. Wen said that in the current international financial crisis, the two sides should strengthen dialogue and policy coordination to stabilize the financial markets, which is crucial to financial stability in Asia.
